Line Management has chosen Recovery Management Consultants as its Project Management partner for one of their largest clients, a US Company with offices in London and Leeds. Their client is implementing a new desktop operating system and require the implementation of up to 1000 new and upgraded desktop systems. This project is requires that access to legacy applications be maintained until the end of the project.

Investec Selects Double Take for High Availability

Investec Bank, after extensive research and testing, has selected Double Take as its global enterprise product for its High Availability and Disaster Recovery Solution.

Investec is one of the 30 largest companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with a market capitalisation on a fully converted basis of US$1.3bn. Its IT department manages over 100 critical servers in its London offices alone.

Investec currently has a cross platform network of servers consisting Win2000, NT and Novell with an extensive integrated backup solution. Jon Hayes, Global Microsoft Platform Manager at Investec, says he selected Double Take to ensure high availability of time sensitive critical servers, to enhance his existing backup solution and to provide off-site/cross-site disaster recovery.

European Reseller Agreement Signed

Recovery Management Consultants announced the successful completion of talks with Sunbelt Software to become their European reseller specialising in High Availability and Disaster Recover Solutions and Services, along with their extended product range.
